Discovery’s ‘After the Catch’ Airing tonight!

This 3rd season of ‘After the Catch’ was filmed in Sunny San Diego, California just recently!  Hosting tonight is Cash Cab’s Ben Bailey, who previously met up with some of these skippers in New York during an episode of ‘Deadliest Catch’ Cash Cab.  Make sure to tune in every Tuesday night after ‘Deadliest Catch’ for the next five weeks!

…Filmed on location at Pacific Beach’s legendary surfer bar, R.T. Longboard’s, Captains Keith, Phil, Sig, Johnathan and Andy are joined by special guests including fellow veteran fisherman, Coast Guard rescue teams, surviving members of the F/V Katmai and, for the first time, the women behind the men. Wives June Hansen, Louise Hansen and Florence Colburn talk about life on the homefront, how they first met their mates and who really wears the grundens in the relationship. So pull up a bar stool.

I love Ben Bailey so don’t get me wrong, but what happened to Mike Rowe and will he be back next year? Either to narrate After the Catch or Deadliest catch? What happened? Maybe prior committment??? What?

  2. Lothian says:

I miss Mike. Ben Bailey is alright, but didn’t have the same chemistry with the Captains.

  3. Westcoyne says:

Ben Baily did a pretty good ‘fill in’ job for Mike on ‘After’. As for Mike, I see he is in some Ford ads. Maybe expanding his job horizons caused a schedule conflict… He does do a nice job for Ford. But I still missed him on ‘After’.

I miss Mike. Nothing against Ben…love Cash Cab!! Just miss my Mike Rowe. I heard him narrating something on History Channel the other night….as well as seeing him host some show there late in the evening on History Channel. Come back Mike!! Come back to Maine!! The eels are still here. Slimy as ever.
