Phil Harris will be attending the Harley-Davidson 105th Anniversary in Milwaukee, Wisconson later this month.  According to his myspace… 

Thur. Aug 28th – Sun. Aug 31st will find Phil and the boys from KICKER Performance Audio descending on Veteran’s Park in Milwaukee, Wisconsin for Harley-Davidson’s 105th Anniversary event. (http://www.harley-davidson.com/wcm/Content/Pages/Events/105th/105_tickets.jsp?locale=en_US). Look for Phil doing autograph/photo sessions at the KICKER rig Thurs, Fri, Sat (times TBD). Phil is also having his personal Harley shipped to the event and will be riding in the massive parade that will snake through downtown Milwaukee on Saturday.”

Meet Captains John and Andy Hillstrand from Discovery Channel’s popular show /lib/img/gallery/img0877102650.jpgThe Deadliest Catch.

The Hillstrand brothers own and operate the 113-foot house aft boat Time Bandit and fish the Bering Sea for king and opilio crab. The exploits of the Time Bandit and its crew as well as other Bering Sea fishermen are featured weekly on the Discovery Channel.
 
The Hillstrands will be on hand to meet attendees and sign autographs in the exhibit hall of the Tampa Convention Center on Friday, September 5 from Noon–2pm and 4pm–7pm and on Saturday, September 6 from 11am–1pm and 4pm–7pm. The Hillstrand’s will also have Time Bandit merchandise for sale and will be taking orders for crab meat.  Link

    Anyone going to Tampa to meet the Captains?

    These are good guys, enjoy your visit with them.
    They are amazingly generous and a pleasure to talk to.

    I can’t make it because of family responsibilties.

    But I imagine it will be both fun and a busy time for all.
