Florida Fans, Heads Up! Deadliest Catch Skippers coming to you!

Floridians and “Deadliest Catch” fans may remember that just this last January, Captains Johnathan Hillstrand and Keith Colburn made an appearance at Sarasota’s Thunder by the Bay.  Well not only was it a huge success in raising funds for The Florida Center which does great work for children and families, it was also filmed!  So yes, if you’re from Florida, you’ll get to watch highlights from the event as you can see below!

Captain Keith Colburn (F/V Wizard) and Capt. Johnathan Hillstrand (F/V Time Bandit) were recently in Sarasota Florida, to participate in the 10th Annual Thunder By The Bay Motorcycle Festival which raised $70,000 for The Florida Center for Child and Family Development.  You can see both Captains on Comcast Sports Southeast which will air a half hour special surrounding this year’s Festival on Friday, March 28, at 10:30 p.m. and again on Monday, March 31, at 4 p.m.  Festival Director, Lucy Nicandri, will also appear on Comcast Sports Southeast SportsNite live from 6-7 p.m. on Friday, March 28, to pre-promote the airing of this television special.  “Having both Captains here really added to this year’s Festival and their hearts are truly into helping special needs children and their families”  says Nicandri. 

Captain Keith Colburn and 2 crew members (Monte Colburn and Gary Soper) will be attending the upcoming 24th Annual Suncoast Offshore Grand Prix Festival Powerboat Races in Sarasota, Florida  July 3-6.  For updated information and appearance schedules log onto www.suncoastoffshore.org  Details will be announced soon.
