Deadliest Catch crew in Dover Downs, Delaware did more then sign autographs: see the photos

The first stop of the Deadliest Catch crew–dubbed The Bad Boys of the Bering Sea–was Dover Downs, Delaware.  As you may know, they appeared for a meet and greet at the Terrace lounge at Dover Downs Hotel & Casino, where they had an autograph session for a surprisingly extra-large crowd.  Word has it the whole crew–Josh and Jake Harris, Larry Hendricks, and John and Andy Hillstrand–are amazed and honored that their “celebrity status” has reached east coast fans to the degree that it has.  Such a great time was had by all that rumor is they’ll be stopping in Dover, Delaware for another visit before the October 15th season opening of King Crab and hopefully there will more information on that later.  Look below to see what else these Bering sea fishermen were up to in Dover… badboys3.jpg

On August 10th, The Deadliest Catch captains and deckhands showed their cooking skills as camera men filmed an episode of “Dover Downs is Cooking”, a local cooking show.  More will be posted at a later date on the Dover Downs is cooking website. (All photos courtesy of the Crabbroker)

The Bad Boys of the Bering sea, aka Deadliest Catch crew, also spent time with some of the members of the Dover International Speedway.

The meeting of two crews!  The Deadliest Catch crew poses with the Dover International Speedway crew…in full gear!  Can you spot Johnathan and Andy Hillstrand of the F/V Timebandit, Jake and Josh Harris of the F/V Cornelia Marie, and Larry Hendricks of the Sea Star?

They are just as they are on television! They were so kind to the kids! My sister and I attended and it was wonderful! Just had wished that it was more organized then it was. The poor guys were being pushed and shoved by all of the adults!
