The ships, captains, and crews featured on ‘Deadliest Catch’ are all licensed to fish for the Bristol Bay region Red King crab. Most are also licensed for Opilio and Tanner crab in the same area. Seasons begin on October 15th.

St. Paul Island, a popular ofloading port for ‘Deadliest Catch’ boats, is one of the Pribilof islands, along with St. George. As one can see by the image, although they appear close to the Aleutian islands and the mainland, they’re a full 800 miles from Anchorage.
What cannery does the Deadlist Catch ships unload at?
They vary. The Northwestern offloads at Trident. I think that The timebandit uses Unisea, but I’m not completely sure….
