    Dear Sir,
I am writing to you in regards to any vacancies you may have at sea.
Over the years, I have gained various experiences in several sectors. These include, first aid qualified training, basic military training in the T.A. (territorial army) and sea experience, on the Irish Sea, on a yacht.
I have no criminal convictions, and I am fit and healthy and eager to learn. I am adventurous and am looking for the ideal job for satisfaction. I feel working at sea would be the ideal career for myself as it would satisfy my adventurous and hard working side.
I am equally able to work as part of a team or on my own, and I am used to working all hours, whether day or night.
Basically I am seeking a new challenge in my working life, and I desire to learn new skills to help progress myself personally and professionally.

I would be grateful for any response, and I thank you beforehand for taking your time to read this letter.

    Yours truly,
    M P Glover.

My dad was on the Sea Star back in the late 60″s and Early 70’s. I have a photo album full of the boat and many other boats. I was wondering if you or Captain Kenny may remember my dad. Bob(Robert)McConnell; My grandpa, his dad Pappy (Bob) McConnell was also an alaska crab fisherman. I love your boat and will continue to watch and read anything about the Sea Star. Is there any books on the Sea Star
