“Deadliest Catch” Nominated for another award!

The nominations for the 59th Annual American Cinema Editors Eddie Awards were announced today …

In contention for best edited reality series are Eric Lasby for the “New Orleans” installment of ” Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations”; Kelly Coskran and Ed Greene for the “Fresh Blood” episode of “The Deadliest Catch”; and Leonard Feinstein for “Greensburg: The Tornado.”

The awards will be handed out at a gala Feb. 15 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.

This is the second nomination that ‘Deadliest Catch’ has garnered in the last few weeks.  Previously the Producers Guild announced their nominations…

Nominations for nonfiction TV went to Discovery Channel’s ‘Deadliest Catch’, PBS’ ‘Frontline’, Bravo’s “Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List,’ CBS’ “60 Minutes,’ and Showtime’s ‘This American Life.’

The PGA awards will be presented Jan. 24 at the Hollywood Palladium. Nominations for features and longform television will be announced Jan. 5 along with the individual producers in all categories, following completion of the PGA’s accreditation process.
