    Good morning to everybody.
    I´m writing from Plettenberg,Germany.
Not long ago, i become a huge fan of this show, wich is known in germany as “Der geährlichste Job Alaskas”.
Since the day, i´ve seen it first, i could not wait for the next episode and now, i´m waiting for the latest season.
Did you know, that the filmcrew is aboard in this year 2009? I hope so!

Keep fishing and to all of the fishermen : good luck

phil is doin fine for now. he was just here at saint paul island for about two weeks and just left a few days ago. he was having engine problems and ice buildup in the harbor. couple of ppl here talked with and it kinda sounds like he will not stay on the boat anymore do to his health i guess but dont take my word for it because he is a stuborn old man. hes still smoking like a chimney too. hope this little update is good enough for ya! and for Matthias… YES the film crew are on the boats but im not too sure which ones right now. but they ARE on the CM for sure.

I’m glad to read that Phil is doing fine but sorry to read that Phil might not be back. Those clots are real buggers!! My brother has Deep Vein Thrombosis(blood clots in the deep veins of the legs, arms). Those clots
can break loose and end up in the lungs. He has to take Kumadine to help prevent clots and get regular excercise. Thankfully Phil has his boys. I love watching the show and Phil and the boys are one of my fav.’s
Oh, Phil I’ll miss your lovely eyes if you don’t come back.

    Hi There,
I am looking forward to the next season, it’s been a long wait for us in Australia. I hope every-one is back and in great health. Phil, you really need to cut out those 2 bad habits, smoking and drinking(red bull??)Both can’t be healthy, replace them with other more healthy choices and try walking around more on deck and standing instead of sitting. I also should be more aware as I need some exercise too. Or in the off season try fishing down under, plenty of fresh air and beautiful scenery and no crowds.

  11. I am trying to get in touch with Doug Stanley. Jason Bross at http://www.airshotz.com has a buisness that will be great for Doug. He Jason lives 2 miles from Todd Stanleys home in Lotus. Please have him call us as soon as possible. 530 391-1759 Sandi or Jason Bross 530 391-1695 Thanks

Hey Greg! Phil is not a Stubborn old man! He is 52yo Stubborn is not the same as Set in your own Ways. He is just set in his own ways. And besides that your only as old as you think you are. Wait until your his age, you’ll be set in yours. Most men are. Lori
