Pinchers Crab Shack, renowned family-owned seafood restaurant, is hosting a block party at their new Gulf Coast Town Center location with 3 of the crewmembers from the Discovery Channel’s Northwestern: Edgar Hansen – Deck Boss, Matt Bradley – Deckhand and Jake Anderson – Junior Deckhand on Saturday, August 21st.
Excited about opening their 8th location, Pinchers wants to celebrate with the community. The event is free, open to the public and will feature live music, a silent auction and festivities for the entire family.
Avid motorcycle riders when not fishing, all three crewmembers will be participating in a ride from Harley-Davidson of Fort Myers to Naples Harley-Davidson and ending at Pinchers Crab Shack the day of the event. Participants should arrive at Harley-Davidson of Fort Myers at 2:00 p.m., leaving at 3:00 p.m. The second leg of the ride will leave Naples Harley-Davidson at 4:45 p.m. arriving at Pinchers Crab Shack by approximately 5:30 p.m.
From 5:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. at Pinchers, guests will get to mingle with the crew, take photos and participate in a Northwestern “stories from the sea” question and answer session. The Dazzling Delrays will play from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. followed by Deb and the Dynamics from 9:00 pm. to midnight.
Funds will be raised and split between two causes – Blessings in a Backpack and Jake Anderson’s search for his father. Blessings is a local nonprofit organization feeding area hungry children(www.blessingsinleeco.org/). Anderson’s father has been missing since January and the funds will be used to continue the search (www.tekcheck.net/html/KeithAnderson/keith.htm).
With “you can’t fake fresh” as the company motto and a focus on quality control, Pinchers Crab Shack is the ideal place to enjoy seafood in Southwest Florida. i absolutely LOVE the updates that this website has. i have been watching the show since 2007. my heart is so heavy for jake anderson and his father. but i think it would be safe to say (for the people who don’t know) that keith anderson was a United States Marine also. alot of times when i see postings about jake’s dad, that gets left out. most of the men in my family were (are) in the U.S. Marine Corps.. my brother was a Cpl. and still has 2 more years of inactive duty. He signed up for 4 yrs. active and 4 years inactive. he served 2 tours in Iraq (before Iraq is like it is now) .. thanks for the posts and updates!
Thanks for the info tamara. I hope that Jake finds the closure that he must surely be looking for.
I’m there – Pinchers is 5 minutes from my house. I’m so excited because I have not met Matt or Jake yet but have met Edgar once at EPCOT. Wish me luck on getting there early and getting some good pics!
Hope you have a blast!
I did have a great time; although, it was a 2 1/2 hour wait to get to the guys! They were great as usual. Love to upload a pic if you want to post.
Oh – and I know this probably isn’t the place for this – but I have to update to my new email address. I changed it when I typed this response – hope that’s OK?
I’m glad to hear you made it! …And I cant believe the wait time, lol! That’s alot of standing around!
It was worth it! Pincher’s had some great bands playing, so we had entertainment all night long. The guys signed for about 4 1/2 hoursw – now that’s alot of standing around! Like I said, they’re great guys -taking all that extra time for their fans!
