Deadliest Catch Skippers continue with their cross country tour
Currently, the Deadliest Catch crew–dubbed as The Bad Boys of the Bering sea by their tour sponsor, the Crabbroker–are finishing up in Sarasota, Florida and heading out. But just last week, they were in the Chicago area. Local reports of “Deadliest” sightings follow:

‘Deadliest Catch’ at Bob Chinn’s Crab House
Seafood and famous people who catch it reunited Monday at Bob Chinn’s Crab House in Wheeling. The event, titled “Bad Boys of the Bering Sea,” allowed attendees to meet cast members of the Discovery Channel reality show “Deadliest Catch.” “I love the show,” said Mike Gaul, an Island Lake resident. “It is exciting, and a thrill to see what they can do.” Some of the cast members in attendance included Larry Hendricks, captain of the Sea Star; Jonathan and Andy Hillstrand, both of whom have served as captains of the Time Bandit; and Phil Harris of the Cornelia Marie.
“I am a fan of the show, because they will risk their lives to get a delicacy that I love,” said Debbie Herbert, a Grayslake resident. Deno Roumanidakis, director of operations for Bob Chinn’s, said the fishermen on the television show are the ones who catch the crab the restaurant serves. “We buy all our crab from them,” he said. Roumanidakis said the restaurant got more than 650 reservations for the event, and more people just walked in.

I hope the “Bad Boy’s” of Alaska are having a great time! Thanks to all the writers who bring a bit of their tour show to us readers who can’t make it to these events. Autographs on T-shirts aside, I know these guys are down to earth spectacular and the best fishermen in America- no matter the seafood. Let them keep having fun all summer long on this tour. Thanks for letting me be a proud fan.
Sincerely,
Dawn B. from Atlanta
